Sapien Whole World Programs

Sapien is well known for it's educational programs which they perform at schools K-12, colleges, museums, churches, camps and festivals. The show is a nice mix of music and stories designed to entertain and inform youth of all ages about the cultures from which their interesting and vast array of musical instruments came. Sapien has been proudly associated with Young Audiences of Atlanta, a National Non-profit Arts-In-Education Organization, for many years.

Here is what the school representatives say about Sapien - Whole World Music:

"Sapien had our entire school singing out the door of the assembly.   The children learned a great deal about music instruments from other cultures and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the program.   The guys in Sapien deliver a high-energy, interactive show that all grade levels will be talking about for days.  "
Michelle Truelove, music teacher, Wauka Mountain Elementary

"Great music and great performers who provide a true cultural learning experience for everyone... In my estimation, the Spivey Hall stage has had few better moments."
John Shiffert - Clayton State College

"Let me say that Young Audiences has been well served by you and Sapien. You were tremendous! Not just musically, but also in your rapport with the kids. You had 400 of them entranced for an hour. And, as a parent, I know what a feat that is."
Jesse Armstrong - Mt. Pisgah Christian School

Besides performing music and stories, Sapien members can also conduct workshops for all ages on topics including: Drum Circles and Drum Jams, Didgeridu making and playing, Cane Flute making and playing, Mega Show-n-Tells about: Native American Cultures, Australian Aboriginal Cultures, and Native African Cultures.
